General Qualification Requirements

  • Male
  • Has at least 6 months to 1 year experience in the same capacity, preferably in a Fine Dining Restaurant or in a Deluxe Hotel
  • Knowledgeable in various types of a table settings and serving procedures


  • Graduate of any 4 year course preferably on Hotel and Restaurant Management from reputable college or university

Knowledge or Skills

  • Ability to stand or move for extended periods of time
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of quality communication with staff
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Ability to decide on minor details in a given event
  • Must have effective interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent listening and communication skills possesses above average fluency in English
  • Sufficient arm strength and coordination to carry plates of food, glasses and bottles and serve from large serving trays, if needed
  • Fluency in another foreign language is an advantage
  • Pleasant disposition, eager to serve and courteous
  • Self-starter, productive and organized
  • Professional, poised, confident and can work under pressure
  • Gives premium importance to excellent customer service
