Director of Sales

General Qualification Requirements:

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of a 4-year course preferably on Business Management / Marketing / Advertising / Communications or Hotel and Restaurant Management from a reputable college or university.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

  • Preferably female, with at least 5 years of working experience in sales leadership and business development in a hotel industry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTITUDE:

  • Excellent in oral and written communication skills to establish strong customer relationships and repeat business opportunities through a pro-active leadership style
  • Excellent in presentation skills, develop strong general sales techniques and with a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • With passion for sales and target based performance
  • Hands-on professional with a passion to motivate others and a willingness to personally demonstrate a successful method of selling beyond goals and expectations
  • Have knowledge and experience in writing, directing and executing marketing and action plans
  • Excellent skills in team building, selecting talent, training, mentoring and developing a sales team and achieving goals
  • Extensive experience in managing the daily operations, directing the effort, executing and exceeding monthly sales call goals, teleprospecting calls and hotel site tours
  • Managing the sales effort through forecasting, budgeting and yield management to achieve and exceed top line goals
  • Drive revenues through new business opportunities and develop a strong customer base
  • Pro-active sales approach to saturate and penetrate accounts that meet the hotels monthly goals
